Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Crow Web Consulting (“CROW,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information collected through crowswebconsulting.com and related forms. It is written for the current site and may be updated when the site's tools or business practices change.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit an inquiry or review, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, business name, website or social handle, project details, notes, rating, review text, and your review-sharing preference.
Technical and usage information. Hosting providers and web infrastructure may receive standard technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser type, device information, request times, and pages requested. This site also records limited campaign/referrer information on inquiry forms when available.
Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and receives information such as pages viewed, time on site, the website or campaign that referred the visit, approximate location (city level), browser and device type, and IP address. We also record clicks on telephone and email links and completed form submissions. We do not use this information to serve advertising or sell it. Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months. You can opt out at any time; see our Cookie Policy.
2. How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, prepare or discuss a project, provide requested services, communicate with clients, manage reviews, maintain business records, prevent abuse or fraud, secure the website, and meet legal obligations. Analytics are used to understand site performance and which marketing sources generate inquiries. When you submit a form, we also store the source of your visit (for example, the website or link that brought you here) and the first page you viewed, so we can tell which channels produce inquiries.
3. Forms and service providers
Forms may be processed through Netlify Forms or another provider configured for the site. Hosting, domains, email, payment, scheduling, analytics, and other services may process limited information when they are needed for a requested service. Third-party providers operate under their own privacy policies and terms.
Some pages currently load fonts from Google Fonts. Delivering those fonts can involve a request to Google's servers and associated technical information. This is not used by CROW to create an advertising profile.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
The site does not use advertising cookies or sell personal information. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to distinguish visits, and the site uses browser storage to remember where your visit began and whether you have opted out of analytics. You can opt out with the button on our Cookie Policy page, with Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or through your browser settings.
5. Sharing and sale of information
CROW does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers that are needed to host the site, process forms, provide a requested service, or maintain business operations, and when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
6. Data retention
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including responding to an inquiry, completing or supporting a project, maintaining legitimate business records, handling reviews, resolving disputes, or meeting legal obligations.
7. Security
CROW uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the information handled through the site. No website or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your privacy choices and requests
You may ask CROW about personal information you submitted through this site, request a correction or deletion when applicable, or ask about analytics and your opt-out choices. Use the contact page and identify the message as a privacy request. Privacy rights vary by jurisdiction and may depend on the law that applies to the specific person and processing activity.
9. Texas privacy
Texas law gives certain consumers privacy rights, while also providing exemptions for some small businesses and other entities. CROW will handle applicable privacy requests in accordance with the laws that apply to the business and the person making the request. CROW does not sell sensitive personal data.
10. Children's privacy
This website is intended for business inquiries and is not directed to children. CROW does not knowingly request or collect information from children through these forms.
11. External links
This site links to third-party websites and social platforms. CROW is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. Review their policies before submitting information to them.
12. Policy updates
This policy may change when the site, services, or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
13. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, use the CROW contact page. Please do not include passwords, financial account numbers, or other highly sensitive information in a website form.
