Terms of Service
Last updated: September 11, 2026
These terms describe the general expectations for projects and consulting services provided by Crow Web Consulting. A specific project may also have a written proposal, quote, or agreement that adds to these terms.
1. Services
Crow Web Consulting provides website design, website development, digital consulting, website reviews, and related digital services. The exact scope of a project is based on what is agreed upon before work begins.
2. Project scope and changes
Requests outside the agreed scope may require additional time or a revised price. I will communicate material changes before doing substantial additional work.
3. Client responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate business information, approved branding assets, content, account access when necessary, and timely feedback. Delays in receiving required materials can affect a project timeline.
4. Third-party services
Websites may use services such as hosting, domains, payment processors, form providers, analytics platforms, or social networks. Those services have their own terms and availability. Crow Web Consulting is not responsible for outages or policy changes made by third-party providers.
5. Payments
Any project payment schedule, recurring fee, domain cost, or other charge will be communicated before the applicable service begins. Work outside an agreed scope will not be charged without communicating the change.
6. Ownership
Once agreed project payments are completed, the client receives the rights to the final project deliverables that were created specifically for them, subject to third-party licenses and services. Unused drafts, reusable code, tools, and general techniques may remain part of Crow Web Consulting's working materials.
7. Website content
The client is responsible for ensuring that business claims, prices, photographs, logos, and other supplied content can legally be used. Crow Web Consulting may decline to publish content that appears unlawful, misleading, or unsafe.
8. Reviews and testimonials
Submitting a review does not automatically give permission for public use. The review form asks separately whether Crow Web Consulting may share the feedback, whether permission should be requested first, or whether the review should remain private.
9. No guarantee of business results
Good design and digital improvements can support a business, but no specific sales, traffic, ranking, or revenue result is guaranteed. Results depend on many factors outside the website itself.
10. Communication
Project communication may happen through email, messaging, calls, or other agreed channels. Clear communication helps keep projects moving and reduces misunderstandings.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the business grows. The version applicable to a project will be the version communicated or agreed upon for that project.
12. Questions
If you have a question about these terms or a specific project, contact Crow Web Consulting before work begins so expectations can be clarified.
